How do I setup a password file for authenticating users?

The Dante server uses the standard system passwordfile. On many systems, the Dante "user.privileged" id must be set to root or somebody with special access to read the encrypted passwordfile.

Put the server in a chroot jail to manage a separate passwordfile.
