Privacy Notice -- Blog comments

This Privacy Policy describes how we, Inferno Nettverk A/S, collect, store and use information about you when you submit a comment on one of our blog articles. This Privacy Policy is effective from 1 May 2018.

General

Comments submitted to our blog articles are published on our public web pages and become a permanent part of the article page. No information you do not want to be public should be placed in the name and comment fields. By submitting a comment you accept that we can publish the submitted comment. Submitting an email address is optional. Only submit an email address if you wish us to contact you regarding the information included in the comment. Any submitted email address will not be published.

Submitting a blog comment will result in any submitted email address and and the submitted name being stored, along with the address the request was received from and the time it was received. This information is required to be able to reply to comments that include an email address and to monitor our web servers for maintenance and security problems.

Inferno Nettverk A/S retains the right to not publish a comment, and to take down existing comments at any time.

Security

Our web-pages and submission forms for sending us information are available on both our secure (https) and unencrypted (http) web servers.

The information submitted via web forms are stored on encrypted file systems, with backups also being encrypted.

Blog comment forms

Blog comment data that includes email addresses is stored as consent for reception of replies to the comment submission when an email address is specified.

Email addresses specified in comment forms are only used to follow up on any information submitted in the comment. Submitted email addresses are not shared with or sold to third parties and will not be sent unrelated information.

Data retention

Full server logs are retained for one year, after which log files with full addresses are deleted and only anonymized and non-reversible log data is retained after that. Published blog comments become a permanent public part of the article and are not automatically deleted after a fixed period.

Information access, updates and deletion

You can request access to any information we might have on you, and request that this information be deleted or updated.
