Below is a list of links to SPP related documentation.
These documents describe how to configure p2pd for different usage scenarios. There are basically two different classes of configurations: those using HTTP and those using SPP. The documents describe limitations/benefits of each, with the same CDN configurations used in both documents.
These configurations do not require any special software to be installed on client machines.
These configurations assume that clients have p2pd installed.
As a comparison of the two documents above will show, a larger number of usage scenarios are possible when SPP rather than HTTP is used. A problem with using SPP is however lack of support in clients.
This document describes features in p2pd that attempt to alleviate these problems.
